Le Chemin Du Roi Brut is a Chardonnay-dominant Champagne created by Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson. The name means 'the path of the king', and the chess theme runs through the bottle, which carries a chess-piece emblem and gold-and-silver packaging.
It is a pale-gold brut with fine, persistent bubbles. On the nose there are apricot, white peach and a hint of eucalyptus. The palate brings stone fruit, toasted brioche, bay leaf and white cherry, and the finish is crisp, with citrus and mineral notes.
