A young, smoky single malt from 2020, bottled at six years old by Signatory in its 100 Proof series at 46% ABV. Ledaig is made at the Tobermory distillery on the Isle of Mull.
The nose is led by peat smoke, salty sea air and light medicinal notes, balanced by citrus, malt and a little sweetness. The palate is bold and lively, with clear smoke, ash, pepper and maritime character alongside vanilla and light fruit. The finish is medium to long, with lingering smoke and spice.
