Ledaig Hebridean Moon is a 10 year old peated single malt from the Tobermory Distillery on the Isle of Mull. It matured in a second-fill bourbon barrel and is bottled at cask strength, 58.8% ABV, in a limited run of 7,000 bottles.
The nose is earthy with peat, fresh lemon and orange, vanilla, plaster and freshly ground black pepper. The palate is full of pepper, lemon tart, leather, tobacco, peat, toasted oak and fresh herbs. The finish is long, with nuts, cinnamon and medicinal smoke.
