A single cask Ardmore, bottled at 12 years old and 50.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered with no added colouring, and 285 bottles were filled.
The whisky matured in a refill bourbon barrel and was then finished in Oloroso sherry. The label nods to the distillery's heritage: Ardmore fired its stills directly with coal from 1898 until 2001.
On the nose, subtle sweet smoke gives way to a leathery, waxy richness with fresh baking spices. The palate brings fresh lavender, red fruits and a hint of banana peel, and the finish is sweet, smoky and warming.
