LeNell's Red Hook Rye 23 Year Old Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey Barrel #1 (75cl)

This is a 23-year-old Kentucky straight rye from a single barrel at Willett Distillery in Bardstown, distilled in the 1980s and held for decades in the distillery's limestone-rich rickhouses. It was selected and bottled by LeNell Smothers, who ran the wine and spirits shop LeNell's in Red Hook, Brooklyn from 2003 to 2009. Barrel #1 was the first barrel she chose for her Red Hook Rye selection, which makes it the founding barrel of that programme.
