Leopold Bros – Foeder Series 25th Anniversary Blend of Straight Rye Whiskies (75cl)

Leopold Bros Foeder Series 25th Anniversary is a limited blend of straight rye whiskies, released for the distillery's 25th anniversary. It combines 8 year old Three Chamber rye with 5 year old Maryland style rye whiskey. The two were left to marry in a large French oak foeder, a vessel borrowed from the brewing world and supplied by New Belgium Brewing. The idea took its inspiration from vatted Scotch whiskies. The blend was bottled at barrel entry proof with no filtration. The Three Chamber rye adds body and sweetness to the Maryland style rye, bringing baking spices and stone fruit.
