Leopold Bros – Three Chamber Rye Holiday Edition 2022 Release

A rye whiskey from Leopold Bros, the Three Chamber Rye in its Holiday Edition 2022 release. It is made in a Three Chamber Still, a design used for American rye for over a hundred years until production stopped just after World War II. Leopold Bros. re-engineered the still from old manuscripts and grew Abruzzi rye, a heritage grain favoured by pre-Prohibition distillers. The nose brings peaches, lavender, honey, plums, pears and candied fruit. On the palate are light fruits, chamomile, cocoa, honey, maple syrup and vanilla. The finish runs to lavender, cocoa nibs, figs, honey and pear syrup.
