This is an American sweet vermouth, made as a collaboration between Leopold Bros and Matthiasson. It is made with California grapes and Colorado peaches, and is bottled at 20%.
The nose brings stone fruit, warm spice, dried herbs, citrus peel and a soft caramelised sweetness. The palate is rounded, with ripe peach, spiced fruit, herbal complexity and gentle bitterness.
The finish is smooth and lightly bitter, with herbal spice and fruit-driven sweetness. It works in a Manhattan, Negroni or Americano, or served chilled over ice with an orange twist.
