Lindores Abbey – 1494 (70cl, 46%)

Lindores Abbey 1494 is a single malt from Lindores in Fife, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The barley is grown on the same fields where the monks of Lindores once farmed, and the orchard around the abbey contributes to the flavour of the whisky. It is distilled in the distillery's sister stills and bottled on site by the Lindores team. The palate is silky and creamy, with mild vanilla, dried fruit, citrus accents and a touch of spice. The finish is medium in length, delicate, sweet and lingering.
