Lindores Abbey – 6 Year Old First Aged Statement Members Release (70cl, 49.4%)

Lindores Abbey 6 Year Old is a single malt bottled at 49.4% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is the distillery's first age statement release, made exclusively for the 1494 members. The distillery stands on the outskirts of Newburgh in Fife and takes its name from the Lindores abbey, where the first written reference to Scotch whisky was recorded in 1494. In that year the monk Brother John Cor was commissioned by King James IV to turn 8 bolls of malt into aqua vitae. The present distillery began production in 2017, and released its first single malt in the summer of 2021.
