Lindores Abbey – Commemorative First Release (46%)

This is the commemorative first release from Lindores Abbey, the Fife distillery's first single malt, which came out in the summer of 2021. It is bottled at 46% ABV. The whisky was aged in a combination of ex-Bourbon, wine and sherry casks. It comes from the same vatting as the core 1494 and was released alongside it with a special commemorative label. The distillery stands on the site of the abbey where the first written reference to Scotch whisky was recorded, in 1494.
