Lindores Abbey – Friar John Cor Chapter 3 (70cl)

This is Chapter III of Lindores Abbey's Friar John Cor series, a limited-edition single malt in a 70cl bottle. The series pays tribute to Friar John Cor and his distillation of 1494. The whisky matured in a combination of ex-bourbon barrels and Amontillado and Pedro Ximénez sherry butts. After vatting it was returned to the sherry butts to marry, which adds depth, richness and balance. Lindores uses 100% locally grown barley.
