Lindores Abbey Friar John Cor – The Cask Strength Congregation Batch Chapter 3 is a single malt from Lindores Abbey Distillery in Fife, on the site where whisky was first recorded in Scotland in 1494. It is bottled at a cask strength of 60.2% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in a combination of American bourbon and European sherry casks, and bottled without chill filtration or added colouring. The nose has honey, dried fruit, vanilla, spicy oak, apples and citrus. The palate is intense, with dark chocolate, raisins, ginger, cinnamon and gingerbread, balanced by honey and caramel. The finish is long and warming, with spice, dried fruit and a smoky note.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
