Lindores New Make is the unaged spirit from Lindores Abbey Distillery in the Lowlands, filled into a 20cl bottle at 63.5% ABV. It has not been through cask maturation, so the character of the barley, fermentation and distillation comes through directly. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. The distillery uses Concerto barley grown around the abbey, water from its own borehole and a fermentation of about 72 hours. Two spirit stills give plenty of copper contact. The nose offers pear drops, freshly baked apple pie and sweet cereal. The palate is soft for its strength, with ripe banana, dark cherry and a creamy texture. The finish brings the grain forward, with crisp malt biscuits.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
