Lindores Abbey Single Malt is a Scotch single malt from the distillery at Lindores Abbey in Fife, bottled at 46% ABV. It is made from barley grown locally in Fife and matured in a mix of bourbon, wine and sherry casks. It is not chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
The nose brings honey, vanilla and ripe apple, with gentle spice, almond and a little dried fruit. On the palate it is malty and sweet, with raisins, toffee and a hint of cinnamon. The finish is long and soft, with honey, oak and a light spiciness recalling speculoos and caramel.
