Lindores Abbey Thiron 2024 is a Lowland single malt from Lindores Abbey Distillery in Fife, and the first release in the Thiron series. It marks the link between Lindores Abbey and the Abbey of Thiron-Gardais in France, home of the Tironensian monks who founded Lindores in 1191. The whisky was matured in first-fill bourbon casks, red wine barriques and specially commissioned French virgin oak casks made from Thiron-Gardais trees. It is bottled at 49.4%, non-chill filtered and without added colouring. The nose brings vanilla cake, golden caramel, plum jam, orchard fruit and warm baking spices. The palate is smooth and silky, with creamy vanilla.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
