This is the first commercially available whisky from Lindores Abbey, a single malt bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The name, MCDXCIV, is written in Roman numerals.
It was aged in ex-bourbon casks, ex-sherry casks and STR ex-Burgundy red wine casks. The flavour is described as light yet rich.
