Thiron 2025 is a Lowland single malt from Lindores Abbey Distillery, bottled at the distillery at 49.4% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The name marks the long connection between Lindores Abbey and the French village and abbey of Thiron-Gardais, home of the Tironensian monks who laid the spiritual foundations of Scotch whisky. The whisky was matured in a combination of French virgin oak casks, Bourbon casks and red wine barriques.
