This is a 12 year old Linkwood single malt, distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2020 at 48% for Wilson & Morgan's Barrel Selection. It comes in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was finished for 10 months in a fresh Pedro Ximenez cask. The aim was a light touch, so that the flowery, slightly spicy Speyside character of the distillery stays in front. It remains light bodied, with the sweet Spanish wine showing clearly.
On the nose there are raisiny, winey hints and a slight touch of honey. The palate brings oranges, red apples, berries and peaches.
