This is a 15 year old Speyside single malt from Linkwood, bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in its Distillery Labels range. The bottle carries the historic Linkwood label with the eagle, and the whisky was matured by Gordon & MacPhail at its own warehouses.
It was aged mainly in ex-Sherry oak casks, both first-fill and refill, and is unpeated. Bottled at 43%, it is described as built on red fruits, baking spices and an oily texture rather than on alcoholic force.
