Linkwood – 2008 13 Year Old Master Of Malt (70cl, 56.8%)

Linkwood – 2008 13 Year Old Master Of Malt is a whisky from Linkwood (Speyside). Aged 13 years, bottled at 56.8% ABV, 70cl. Named due to the close relationship one of its three founders had with a Tunbridge Wells-based whisky shop of the same name, Master of Malt originally started trading in 1985 as an independent bottler to fulfil demand for single malt whiskies from the world’s finest distilleries. The company then opened a physical store with a loyal small customer base, but at the start of the millennium, slowly moved to existing solely online which saw the company grow from strength to strength. They now have several different brands including ‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ and Atom Labs. Linkwood
