A ten-year-old Linkwood from La Maison du Whisky's Artist Collective 6.2, a small vatting of first-fill bourbon barrels rather than a single cask. Distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2022 at 48%, without chill-filtration or colouring, it ran to 1,807 bottles. The label shows Yanis Khannoussi's Peinture Ideographique II, with green lines on a purple ground.
Banana, mirabelle plum and apple sit alongside honey sweetness on the nose, with hay, ginger and clove emerging. Fresh lemon, vanilla, coconut and almond shape the palate, which turns malty and lightly tannic. The long finish is salty at first, with candied lemon, pear, praline and acacia honey.
