An 8 year old Speyside single malt from Linkwood, distilled in 2017 and bottled in 2026 for the Cask Partnership Series from Murray McDavid. It was finished in Justino's Madeira casks and is bottled at 55.2% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and without added colouring.
The Madeira finish adds fruitiness and spicy depth to the Linkwood spirit.
The nose offers ripe stone fruit, honey and candied citrus, with raisins, vanilla and gentle spice. The palate is creamy, with apricot, dark berries, caramelised sugar and nutty touches. The finish is long and soft, with dried fruit, oak and winey spice.
