This is the official 12 year old bottling of Littlemill, a Lowland distillery on the banks of the Clyde at Bowling. The bottling has been discontinued, and the distillery is now silent.
Littlemill was founded in 1772 on the border between the Lowlands and the Highlands, and claimed to be Scotland's oldest distillery. It closed for good in the mid 1990s, and the building was destroyed by fire in 2004. This single malt is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
