A 20-year-old Lowland single malt from Littlemill, distilled in 1991 and bottled in 2011 at 50% in the Old Malt Cask series from Douglas Laing & Co. It was matured in a refill hogshead, and 121 bottles were released.
The nose is spicy, clean and sweet, with gentle barley notes. The palate is warmly spiced, with a sweet grist character, and the finish is lightly buttery, in the manner of butterscotch, with a touch of camphor.
