This is a 19-year-old Islay blended malt Scotch whisky from Living Souls, in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in refill bourbon and sherry casks, and the label carries the name Kildalton.
The nose offers peat and smoke with a briny touch over a sweet, malty base. The Islay character is recognisable but not dominant. The palate has body and warmth, with smoke sitting alongside a soft maltiness, and lighter, sweeter notes appearing towards the finish.
