Living Souls Arran (Lochranza) 9 Years Old Small Batch (55%)

This is a 9 year old small batch single malt distilled at Arran's Lochranza Distillery on the Isle of Arran. It was matured in first-fill bourbon casks and bottled by Living Souls at 55%, without chill filtration or added colour. It is bright, fruity and lightly smoky, with Arran's sweetness and a few tropical touches. The nose brings Werther's Originals, candied lemon and soft vanilla fudge. On the palate are pineapple gummy sweets, grilled peaches and honeydew melon. The finish is light but long, with a hint of smoke and fruit.
