Lochlea – Cask Strength Batch 1 (60.1%)

Lochlea Cask Strength Batch 1 is the first of a planned yearly series of limited-edition bottlings from the Scottish distillery. It is bottled straight from the cask at 60.1%, without the addition of water. Master Blender John Campbell and the Lochlea team chose the casks for this first batch: 30% first-fill bourbon barrels and 70% first-fill Oloroso sherry casks. The whisky has no added colouring and is not chill-filtered.
