Third Crop is a Harvest Edition single malt from Lochlea, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It brings together Oloroso sherry butt, port hogshead and refill hogshead casks.
Lochlea is an independent, family-run farm distillery in the Lowlands. It uses only barley grown on its own land, one of just four Scottish distilleries to do so, and it distils and matures its whisky on site. Its motto is "Dare to be honest".
The style is shaped by John Campbell, Lochlea's production director and master blender, who was formerly distillery manager at Laphroaig.
