Lochlea – Ploughing Edition 'First Crop' (70cl, 46%)

Lochlea Ploughing Edition 'First Crop' is a single malt bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in ex-Islay casks and peated quarter casks, and comes from Lochlea, an independent, family-run farm distillery in the Lowlands of Scotland. The distillery uses only barley grown on its own land, and distils and matures its whisky on site, one of just four in Scotland to do so. John Campbell, who previously managed Laphroaig distillery, is production director and master blender.
