Lochlea Ploughing Edition 'Second Crop' is a single malt bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle and matured in ex-Islay casks. It comes from Lochlea, an independent, family-run farm distillery in the Lowlands of Scotland. The distillery uses only barley grown on its own land, and distils and matures its whisky on site, one of just four in Scotland to do so. John Campbell, who previously managed Laphroaig distillery, is production director and master blender.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
