This is a limited edition Lochlea single malt, released in 5,000 bottles and sitting alongside the distillery's Single Estate core range. It is the first in an annual Red Wine Cask series, following several years of experiments with wine casks.
The whisky was finished in first-fill ex-Grenache casks. It is described as vibrant, with summer berries, strawberry shortcake and sweet vanilla.
