Lochlea Sowing Third Crop is a Lowland single malt bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is the first of a new and final set of four limited editions, which close the distillery's seasonal series. These releases follow the working farm's calendar. The whisky was matured entirely in fresh first-fill ex-Bourbon barrels, and it brings out the floral aromatics linked with distilling in the colder months. The nose offers almonds and rose petals. The palate has white pepper and a vibrant burst of apple blossom, and the finish is warm straw and fresh grass.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
