This is Longmorn 15 Year Old, a single malt Scotch from the 2000s, bottled at 45% abv in a one litre bottle.
The nose is soft, with baked peach and apple, caramel, sticky toffee pudding and a hint of damp chamois leather. It is mildly sherried, with nutmeg, butterscotch, orange tea, cloves, honey and a little oak.
The palate is substantial and well built, with soft fruit in a firm structure, a note of Murray mint, buttery oak, toasty cereal, nuts, juicy barley and spice. The finish is nutty and long.
