Longmorn – The Distiller's Choice Speyside Single Malt

Longmorn The Distiller's Choice is a single malt from Speyside, described as smooth, honeyed and led by fruit. The nose brings ripe pear, baked apple and apricot with honeycomb and vanilla cream, lifted by heather and honeysuckle, with a little citrus zest, light oak spice and a hint of fudge. The palate opens silky and sweet with honeyed malt and vanilla, then stone fruit, toffee and shortbread. Mid-palate adds cinnamon, nutmeg and white pepper, and a chocolate-malt note appears with air. The body is medium to full and creamy, with soft oak. The finish is medium, with honey, vanilla, soft fruit and a last echo of malt biscuit.
