This is Longrow 100 Proof, Release #2, a Campbeltown single malt bottled at 50% ABV and finished in Rioja casks.
The nose opens with red currants, Madagascan vanilla, tiger prawns, salami and peppercorns, with an ashy note from the start. On the palate, peat smoke runs alongside tobacco, cigar smoke, dark fruit and leather. The finish brings the heat of chilli, cherry menthol and a lingering peat smoke.
