Longrow 15 Year Old was released for the 2022 Springbank Open Day, held during the Campbeltown Malts Festival. It is a heavily peated Campbeltown single malt, bottled at a natural cask strength of 56.2% ABV and made from a marriage of four fresh Oloroso sherry hogsheads. The outturn was 2,399 bottles.
The sherry casks bring dried fruits, dark chocolate, roasted nuts and warming spices, alongside earthy peat smoke and a coastal character. The palate is full-bodied, and the finish is long and smoky, with sweet sherry oak.
