Longrow Peated Campbeltown Single Malt

Longrow Peated is a double distilled Campbeltown single malt from the Springbank distillery. Longrow was first made in 1973 to give a peaty, oily and robust component to a blend, and it has been a regular part of the production calendar since the 1990s. This expression is heavily peated and matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks. The nose is salty, with leathery smoke in a maritime mix. The palate is light and sweet, with green grapes and rhubarb, before a big wave of smoke. The finish returns to that salty smokiness.
