A 38 year old single grain whisky from Invergordon, bottled at 47.2% in the Lord of the Highlands series. The distillery was founded in 1959 by Invergordon Distillers Ltd and is the only grain distillery in the Highlands.
The nose brings honey, caramel and orange peel, with dark fruit, baked apple and a touch of smoke. The palate is round and full-bodied, with toffee and a hint of oak. The long finish returns to sweet notes with subtle oak.
