Louis Roederer Collection 245 is a Champagne in a 75cl bottle, the 245th blend made by the house. It is assembled from 41% Chardonnay, 33% Pinot Noir and 26% Pinot Meunier.
More than half of the wine comes from the 2020 harvest. It is joined by reserve wines from 2013 to 2019, some of which were aged in large wooden casks.
The nose offers peach, baked apple and bergamot, with jasmine blossom and a background of buttery crumble, biscuit and dark bread crust. The palate is fine and juicy, with ripe fruit, firm structure and a creamy mousse. It finishes long, fresh, citrusy and nutty.
