Louis Roederer Cristal 1999 Champagne

Cristal is the flagship cuvée of Louis Roederer, a vintage Champagne from the 1999 harvest. The house created it in 1876, and it is built from Grand Crus of the Montagne de Reims, the Marne Valley and the Côte des Blancs. In the glass it shows an amber hue with green and orange tints and a fine, even, lively sparkle. The bouquet is complex and intense, with candied citrus, yellow fruit, Williams pear, pollen and toasted almond, marked by precision. On the palate it is powerful and full, yet tight.
