Louis Roederer Cristal Brut Millésimé

Cristal Brut Millésimé is the vintage champagne from Louis Roederer, first created for the Tsar of Russia in 1876. It is made only in the best years, as a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the house's finest crus. The wine spends more than six years maturing in the cellar, then a further eight months after disgorgement. It is bottled in clear glass, a choice that dates back to the original commission. The colour is bright golden yellow with a fine, persistent mousse. The nose offers white-fleshed fruit, ripe citrus, fresh almond, and touches of brioche and honey. The palate is rich and powerful yet fresh, with lively acidity and saline minerality leading to a long finish.
