M&H 2017 APEX Cognac Cask Batch 003 (70cl, 59.4%)

M&H 2017 APEX Cognac Cask is a single malt from the Milk & Honey Distillery in Tel Aviv, Israel. It is batch 003 of the APEX series, a 2017 vintage matured first in ex-bourbon and STR casks and then finished in cognac casks. It was bottled at a cask strength of 59.4%, without chill filtration, in an edition of 1,077 bottles. The nose brings dried fruit, grapes, floral notes and soft wood. The palate is full, with ripe apricot, honey and spice, and a warm, vinous depth from the cognac casks. The finish is long and well balanced.
