This is Batch 001 of the APEX series from Milk & Honey Distillery in Tel Aviv, Israel. The single malt was distilled in 2017 and matured in Chardonnay wine casks. It is bottled without chill filtration at 61.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle, with an outturn of 1,441 bottles. The nose shows ripe grapes, citrus, white blossom and soft vanilla. The palate is intense yet refined, with apple, peach, honey, a light spice and a fresh, vinous touch. The finish is long, fresh and slightly creamy.
