This is a peated single malt from the Milk & Honey Distillery in Tel Aviv, Israel, from the APEX range. Distilled in 2018, it was matured in STR (shaved, toasted and re-charred) casks and bottled in a 70cl bottle at a cask strength of 58.9% ABV, without chill filtration. It is batch 005, with 1,487 bottles. The nose brings smoky notes, toasted wood and dark sweetness. The palate is powerful and concentrated, with peat smoke, spice, caramel and toasted wood. The finish is long, warm and intense, with a lingering smoky echo.
