Macallan – 18 Years Double Cask 2020 (70cl, 43%)

Macallan 18 Years Double Cask 2020 is a Speyside single malt bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is matured for at least 18 years in sherry casks made from both American and European oak. The American oak brings vanilla, citrus and light oak to the front, while the Spanish oak casks add the rich fruit, sherry and strong wood associated with Macallan. The nose is dried fruit, ginger, toffee, orange, clove and nutmeg. The palate has rich raisins, caramel, vanilla, ginger, wood and citrus. The finish is warm and woody with ginger, then sweet orange.
