Macallan Edition No. 6 is a limited-edition Speyside single malt created by Whisky Maker Steven Bremner. It takes its inspiration from the River Spey and the natural world of the Macallan estate, and is bottled at 48.6% in a 70cl bottle.
Bremner chose five cask styles for it, including sherry-seasoned American and European oak. The whisky was bottled in 2020.
The nose offers fresh fruit, nutmeg, ginger and chocolate. On the palate come plum and sweet orange, cinnamon and balanced oak, and the finish moves from fresh fruit and spice into creamy chocolate and toasted oats.
