Macallan – Harmony Collection Intense Arabica (70cl, 44%)

This is a single malt from Macallan's Harmony Collection, in a 70cl bottle at 44% ABV. It is the second annual limited release in the series, which is devoted to coffee, and was created by whisky maker Steven Bremner. The packaging and label are made from a by-product of coffee, the husk of the coffee bean, and are fully recyclable. Tasting notes describe tiramisu and cappuccino on the nose, with sweet condensed milk, sun-dried raisins, praline and gentle spice. The palate brings dark roasted coffee, cocoa nibs, red berries, oaky spice and a hint of orange peel, and the finish keeps the roasted coffee along with chocolate shavings.
