Mackmyra – Efva Swedish Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 46.3%)

Mackmyra Efva is a Swedish single malt, made as a collaboration between the Mackmyra distillery and jewellery designer Efva Attling. It is bottled at 46.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The whisky was aged in a selection of oloroso sherry, bourbon and American oak casks, some of which previously held Swedish birch sap wine. A polished silver stopper, designed by Efva Attling for this whisky, tops the bottle. The nose is fruity and spicy, with spring flowers, red berries and ginger. On the palate come intense red berries and toasted oak, then cherry blossom, vanilla, tobacco and lingering white pepper.
