Mackmyra Midvinter is a Swedish single malt whisky, finished in French Bordeaux casks, glühwein casks and sherry casks.
The nose is of spruce needles, pine and juniper berries. On the palate it is sharp, with those notes developing further, and the finish is long.
It is described as suited to a long winter evening.
